PROJECT FUKUSHIMA! Co-Representative, Composer, Producer
Born in Yokohama in 1959, he spent his teen years in Fukushima. He is always leading multiple music bands and participating in numerous groups and projects. He works independently to create music widely and simultaneously all over the world. As a film composer, he has created music for Chinese and Japanese cinema, as well as TV dramas. His soundtrack for the NHK morning drama show “Amachan”, broadcast in 2013, won him much popularity. He is also the author and co-author of several books about music and Fukushima.
She founded Strange Kinoko Dance Company while still at university and since then has handled the choreography and direction for all the group’s work, which has been performed in Japan and overseas. She has also worked on television shows and commercials. Her awards include Rookie of the Year Award from Dance Critics Society of Japan and the Grand Prize from the Japan Dance Forum (JaDaFo) Awards. She is currently also a part-time lecturer at J. F. Oberlin University.
