Composer and musician Otomo Yoshihide has created a dance song based on Ikebukuro-themed words and phrases collected from ordinary people. The vocals are by Shigeri Kitsu while the unique choreography from Strange Kinoko Dance Company is easy for anyone to remember, young or old.

The dance song will feature at “Festival Fukushima!@Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Park” on November 1st and November 2nd, a weekend of dance and music that will kick off the festival. It will also include the unveiling of the large furoshiki cloth made from crowdsourced materials especially for the event and laid out on the ground at Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Park.
