An F/T Station will be installed in the Nishiguchi Park at the West Exit of Ikebukuro Station. In a huge dome-shaped installation designed by Open A, the F/T Station will host a cafe, an information stand, mini-performances and talks!

In the weekends an “Oyaji Café” produced by the choreographer Kim Itoh will open! Recruiting “real” men considering themselves “Oyaji” (wise old fellows), the training includes a lenient workshop and training to become a waiter!

Choreographer and dancer. Itoh’s satirical and humorous works based on the theme of the “unusual in the everyday”, have contributed to establishing him as one of the representative of Japanese contemporary dance, In 1995 he founded the Kim Itoh + the Glorious Future. In 2001 he was awarded the Asahi Performing Arts Award for his work “Hageshii Niwa” (Screaming Garden). He is known for pursuing the physical possibilities of non-professional dancers.
Born in Saga Prefecture In 1968. After obtaining a degree in Architectural Engineering from the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda University, he entered the Hakuhodo advertising agency. After four years he returned to the university, entering a doctoral course. In 2002 he established the architect studio, “Open A”.
A press center will open at the B1 floor in Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space gathering all the necessary F/T information. Artist information and video material will also be available.
