Six actresses and dancers create this incredible vision of hardship, sadness, contradiction, helplessness and solitude.
Adapted from the work of the writer Nelly Arcan, who died at the age of 36, this production is directed by Marie Brassard, a long-time collaborator of Robert Lepage, and premiered in Montreal in 2013 to widespread acclaim. This staging in Japanese features Yasuko Matsuyuki and an all-star local cast of actresses and dancer, who fully bring to life the emotional, linguistic, physical power of the play.
