F/T Main Program

A packed line-up of Japanese and overseas productions presenting the cutting edge of the international performing arts, as well as encounters with the unique forms of expression being created in Japan today. It continues F/T's re-inquiry into the fundamentals of drama and fiction, seeking out new forms of narrative for the world today.

F/T Related Program

Numerous large-scale participatory projects transforming the Ikebukuro area. A series of lectures and artist talks, as well as major satellite events such as F/T Mob and F/T Station expanding the reach and style of the festival.

F/T13 Emerging Artists Program

Showcases the work of 9 younger performing arts companies and artists, selected from 137 entries from all over Asia (74 from Japan, 63 from other regions). The F/T Award will be given to the production judged to have the most creative value, along with a commission to participate in the following year's F/T Main Program.
