How can we comprehend and talk about the complex and severe reality that confronted us on 3.11? F/T12 will retain this inquiry as it moves forward another step, seeking out the visions and actions for re-claiming the words we have lost. Featuring 3 linked works by Nobel laureate Elfriede Jelinek, including a new work inspired by 3.11, the Festival will showcase the contemporary arts from all over the world that are facing up to various crises, becoming a site for questioning the performing arts today and for dialogue with ideas opening up our future.
