Takuya Murakawa "Zeitgeber" | FESTIVAL/TOKYO Performing Arts Festival launching from Tokyo

Takuya Murakawa works in the Kansai region. After making documentary films from his student years he worked as an assistant director from 2004, becoming an indpendent director and documentary filmmaker from 2009. Since last year he has continued to work based around the theme of "labour", including his previous piece "FUJINOHANA" (with Shuzo Kudo) on care workers. This new work will extend this further, removing nursing and nursed bodies from the objective of labour, recreating this on the stage and considering what comes out of "work" that has lost its purpose.
