Performing Arts Festival launching from Tokyo
Shirai's "blueLion" featuring the renowned dancers Misako Terada and Yukio Suzuki, and live music played by "genreless" musicians, is the result of a two-month residency at the Kyoto Art Center. In his new work the winner of the 2006 Toyota Choreography Award is challenging a new type of choreography crossing the genres of text, music, and body.
