The deadline for applications for the F/T13 Emerging Artists Program was on January 31st.
We received applicants from all over Asia.
The total number this year was
137 applicants: 74 from Japan, 63 from other parts of Asia.

Indonesia Theatre of Studio "The Bionarration of a Disjointed Body!" wins the F/T Award 2012
The F/T Emerging Artists Program supports the next generation of young Asian artists and companies to produce their own work in Tokyo.
The F/T Award is then given to the work in the program judged to have the most artistic and creative value.

F/T12 Emerging Artists Program: F/T Award Ceremony live streaming
The F/T Emerging Artists Program supports the next generation of young Asian artists and companies to produce their own work. Last year it expanded out into the whole of Asia and for this 2012 program it received 180 applicants from Japan and the rest of the continent, from which a line-up of 11 companies/artists (5 from Japan, 6 from other Asian regions) was chosen.
Following the streaming of last year's event, we will again be streaming live the announcement of the F/T Award, given to the work with the most creative value.

Change to Running Time for "American Dream Factory"
It was previously announced that "American Dream Factory" by Against Again Troupe would last for 90 minutes. The running time has now been changed to 100 minutes.

F/T Symposium 11/20 (Tue): Change of Speaker
Tomorrow (11/20) the
F/T Symposium wil be held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre.
It was previously announced at Kazushi Hosaka would be one of the speakers for
Theme 2: Where is the Language of Theatre? (16:30-18:30). However, due to illness, Mr. Hosaka has been forced to withdraw.
