For the documentation "Election Campaign Wallenstein" (2008), Rimini-Protokoll's Helgard Haug and Daniel Wetzel reinvented their play "Wallenstein" (2005) for the camera. The true heroes from Mannheim and Weimar (e.g. a police chief, a owner of a dating agency and Dr. Sven Otto from the political party CDU) play their own role by using Schillers texts about loyality, love, power, treason and war. The fact that the actors are real persons relates the classic play to social reality.
